The Lamb Inn Touring Caravan Park
As a touring centre Hermon by Crymch
on the A478 is ideally situated to satisfy any discerning caravanner
or visitor.
Cardigan is to the north situated on the
River Teifi and the start of the Pembrokeshire
coast path, the only coastal national park
in the United Kingdom.
To the north west lies Newport
and Fishguard where daily ferry sailings leave and return
to Rosslare in the Republic of Ireland.
To the west lies St. Davids, the smallest city and
Newgale famous for its golden sandy beach and stunning
sunsets.
To the south west lies Haverfordwest the county
town and Pembroke and Milford Haven
steeped in naval history.
To the South lies Tenby and
Saundersfoot the most famous tourist locations and the
end of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. If you like the
sea we are surrounded by the Cardigan Bay,
Irish Sea, Carmarthen Bay,
The Bristol Channel and St. George's
Channel.
We are situated off the main A478 road which runs between
Narberth in the south of the county to
Cardigan in the north. If arriving by car and caravan
you will find us 2 miles from Pentregalar or
Crymch on the A478 signposted Hermon.
You will find The Touring Caravan Park and
The Lamb Inn pub through the village as you start to exit.
The caravan pitches are to the rear of the pub through the car park, there
is a one-way system through the car park and the pitches. The caravan park
is almost flat, only slightly sloping through the valley to
Llanfyrnach.
The original inn has been a pub for at least
200 years, we are informed that Oliver Cromwell
stayed in the Lamb Inn in the 17th century during
the English Civil War when Pembrokeshire was the only
Royalist stronghold in the whole of South
Wales. The pub was extended in the 20th century to facilitate the
restaurant, visitor centre and the en-suite
letting bedrooms on the first floor.
